Team Wavemaster at Secret Spot
The swell started to build today but wasn't hitting my local bank quite right hence it meant packing up the 4 wheel and heading up the beach to the secret spot. Rees happened to be down for a few days and was keen. 2 - 3 footers by ourselves for and hour, classic. Check out more action here

Virgile Humbert
He's the French Champion and the World Champion and he's still a junior. After a come from behind performance in the semi final of the 2011 World Titles in Portugal against Rees Duncan, Virgile went on the take the main event over compatriot Pablo. With a strong powerful style and a radial air game Virgile just might dominate the sport for the next decade. Check out some action here

Pablo Arrouays
Leading into the World Waveski titles in Portugal last year we heard that a bunch of French juniors were coming to challenge for the title. We certainly weren't disappointed as aerial manoeuvres were the norm with this group. Pablo was one of the standouts taking out the Junior title ahead of good mate Virgile Humbert but had to settle for 2nd in the open final as Virgile stepped up another gear. Check out Pablo in action at Santa Cruz Portugal here

One year on
Well its been exactly 1 year since my last post and a lot has happened. I've moved to the Beach where I get to see the surf from the lounge room. I now have a wave ski masters world title under my belt but came runner up in my Kayak title defence. I've now joined the Mega team and my new Mega Phantom surf kayak should be arriving in a few weeks, my old Random Evolution now lives in Canada. Here's my local

Home from Bali
Scored some great waves again in Bali. Over the 20 days I was was there the swell ranged from 2 to 6 ft peaking on the last day with an epic session out on middle break. I got to surf every day and ventured out to Cangu, Ulu's, Padang Padang and the Kuta Outer reefs, I must have caught at least 600 waves if not more. Might have to go back again next year.
